Damn you Rocksteady. Damn you straight to hell.

HOW dare they take away my one unalienable right as a gamer. The right to choose. The right to choose to play any game I want at any time. The right to choose to drop 70 points on the Bears with the Packers. The right to choose to shoot fools in the face with my bolter. For the love of all that is holy, the right to choose to annihilate lambent with extreme prejudice. But with the release of Arkham City that is exactly what Rocksteady has done.

Let me make a comparison. You see, I played Arkham Asylum and loved it. Played it for many many many hours. But this was several years ago and much like a girlfriend that I was tired of, laid it to the side. But then here comes City, and that old girlfriend unleashed her powers against me. Soon our relationship was full bore again, but even worse. It is toxic and purely physical, and our digital coupling is so freaking amazing that I over look her clinging nature and huge demands of my time. I find I can’t even look or think about other games without thinking of her. My dalliances with her are killing my other relationships. Damn you Rocksteady. Damn you.

Batman Arkham City= BAMF!

Ba na na na na na na na na na na na na BATMAN! That’s right it’s time to put on the cape and cowl pajamas and sit down to review Arkham City.

I rushed back from the midnight release from my local game stop, opened up my collectors edition (Words of Wisdom) which is amazing by itself. It comes in black and white box displaying the ever sinister joker and our hero batman. Through the case you can see the statue crafted by Kotobukya. After sliding off its plexi condom, the sides fall revealing the game in the back along with a drawer that slides out of the base. I love hidden compartments, it’s like having Christmas twice. I’ll be kind and skip all the extras since there is a ton. Instead I’ll get to what we all want to know...just how bad ass is Batman Arkham City? Grab a refreshment and find out after the break.

Updates this Week

This week we have some crazy updates coming from the R&R team. Check One will have two interviews one on Tuesday and one on Wednesday. 

Also with Batman Arkham city releasing tonight at midnight expect to see LazarusReturnz posting something Tuesday on first impressions.
