Aliens Game Franchise May Have Hope

In case you missed it at E3, the Aliens: Colonial Marines trailer was shown and for once, there may be hope in the Aliens gaming franchise. GearBox has become one of the more successful indie developers in recent years with releases like BorderLands, Brothers In Arms, and expansions to the ever popular Half-Life series. They have taken on the task of making an Aliens game that does justice to the movies and doesn't make you want to bash your skull against wall for a few hours in hopes of getting your time back, or if you're lucky, forgetting the experience as whole due to head trauma. The trailer looks promising and with Gearbox's history I believe this could be the game that picks up the pieces after such piss poor adaptations in the past.
