Obsidian Project Eternity kickstarter earns over 1,000,000 in a day

Remember when I poked a little fun at the teasers Obsidian was putting out? Well tell me to shut hell up next time. They announced a new RPG called "Project Eternity" and since it's announcement...err yesterday...over $1,000,000 has been pledged to the project via kickstarter. We've said it once and we'll say it again, kickstarter is one the best of things to happen to the gaming industry in a long time. Not only does the publisher get bypassed but it's the players who decide on a game, shit is like what democracy wants to be. No electoral college or shady ass politicians to be found here guys just some passionate people looking to make badass games. The next president should be picked via a kickstarter program. Check out the kickstater video because by time you see it, their goal of 1.1 million will probably have been met. Yeah we'll be tweeting that out @askrandr so be sure and retweet it and let us know what you think.

Be a superhero. Play Champions online

At some point in time every single kid has had pajamas with a cape that velcros so we don’t choke ourselves out while acting like superman.  Then there are those times in junior high drawing the batman symbol on our paper bag book slips. As adults we get tattoos of our favorite super heroes, so why in the fuck aren’t you playing one? Do yourself a favor and start downloading Champions Online before you click to read how you can create the hero from your childhood.

Let Oktober begin with a Leinenkugel review

This will probably be one of the more well known beers we review but I must admit this is my favorite time of the year for beer. I'm a huge fan of the Oktoberfest and Marzen style beers and they've become a staple at my household as the leaves begin to fall. I happened to have a Leinenkugel Oktoberfest sitting around to go with my scrambled eggs this morning (breakfast of champions) so I thought, why not do one of my favorite things and play some games while drinking a beer? Dr. Doom and Sagat say listen up kids.

After the initial pour, the beer comes with the pale amber color you'd expect from a Marzen with less than a finger of head. It has mostly a sour smell but you can catch a hint of the malt as well. With the first taste you immediately catch all the malt up front and it ends with some hops almost creating a copper taste. It's pretty light bodied for an Oktoberfest and it could be considered a session beer. Overall not one of my favorites, a pretty average Marzen lacking any real depth in taste. Not something I'd keep around but damnit if it didn't taste alright with my eggs. It gets 2.8 out 5 shells. Mark of ninja review makes dreams come true

Do you remember being a kid and wanting to be ninja when you grew up? Sure, some of you may have given up on that dream but there's people like myself who decided being a ninja trumps any shitty day job you can think of. It's more of a third shift position anyway which suits my style. What I'm trying to say is Klei Entertainment's Mark of the Ninja is beyond fun and it's the stuff dreams are made of. The creators of the Shank series have given us a stealth based Xbox Live Arcade game; think Tenchu only 2D and with a far superior story line and set of game mechanics. You take over a silent protagonist who's chosen to don tattoos that grant power at the cost of one's sanity in order to save the ninja clan. Now let's delve into the reasons I'm taking a new third shift position.
