Pathfinder Online Kickstarter. CALLED IT.
Down & Dirty
Anyone who reads our charismatic articles knows how much we love to say, “we were right” or “we fucking told you so.” Here we are again, to do the same damn thing with Pathfinder Online’s Kickstarter. If you missed us telling you this would happen then read it again here in all it’s rightful glory.
R&R is pretty damn excited to see how high they set bar, when making this tech demo for Pathfinder online. Most of all, what kind of incentives do you give for donating to something that is just a demo? Guess we will find out over the next few weeks.
Now a word from LazarusReturnz (Necessary Evil for those Iron GM fans out there),
“When WOTC changed the rules for how their d20 license would work the little bit of soul I had left died. Then something magical happened! Paizo stepped up to the plate and gave us Pathfinder open beta. Easily one of the most successful open design projects in all of tabletop history. This company blazed a trail showing how much they care and love the community that supports them. This went a long way with me and soon Pathfinder was my game of choice.
As time went on Paizo became a staple not only in my RPG shelf but in other areas as well, but first a little history lesson. Back in the day there were magazines called Dungeon & Dragon (yes there are other magazines than GamePro). These met a horrible demise with the WOTC changes and in turn I lost something I looked forward to every month, until Pathfinder Adventure Path was released upon the world. This monthly installment not only contained new content to feed your campaign the life that it lost with the old adventures of Dungeon, but had some of the best written adventures to grace my gaming table (besides mine of course).
I for one cannot be happier to have Paizo out there bringing the story and greatness that only the purple Golem can bring into the digital land of MMO’s. Paizo, Goblinworks, it’s time to suit up and make all these adventures something the world can play. I will always be in your corner and R&R will provide the ammo to keep the haters away.”
