Gamer has been a fixture in my vocabulary since a young age; what started as a hobby has turned into a passion in recent years. All those years ago my brother handed me Secret of Mana; I had little knowledge that it would lead to a life long love for games and how immersive they could be. Since that time, I’ve become involved heavily in the competitive fighting game scene and it’s helped create new perspectives on the gaming community. I’ve also been involved in several Betas for MMOs (both closed and open) such as Warhammer Online, DC Universe, and Stars Wars the Old Republic. I feel the community has expanded greatly as a whole and with an audience larger than ever, I aim to add more honest analysis of games writing for Refresh & Reload.
